Villarreal coach Ernesto Valverde says his side are "lacking a little bit of everything" as they head to the Riazor to take on Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday in search of their first win of the season.

The Yellow Submarine started their 2009/10 campaign with two draws and followed that up with two defeats and the coach says the need a little extra to start winning games.

"We need a little bit more luck and generally a little bit more of everything. I don't think we are as bad as a team that haven't won yet," Valverde told a press conference.

"The team is more or less working," added the coach, who is "convinced" that his side "will secure victory at the Riazor".

Valverde knows his team will have to improve as Depor will be no pushovers.

"Deportivo are very well organised and difficult to break down. They are very dangerous on the counter attack so we need to be mindful when we lose the ball and try not to get hit on the counterattack," he said.
